U.S. EEO-1 Report
Corning has made conscientious strides toward diversity for more than 50 years. While we have made significant progress over the years, we recognize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) is a journey.
We believe that transparency of our diversity data is a critical part of that journey. Understanding the makeup of our workforce helps us drive representative leadership, instill DE&I in our talent discussions, and develop diverse talent pipelines. This insight also guides us as we create opportunities for employees to grow and succeed and support an overall inclusive culture around the world. Read our most recent EEO-1 report here.
The data contained in the EEO-1 report represents just a portion of our global workforce. With nearly three quarters of Corning’s workforce located outside the U.S., our DE&I efforts span the globe. Our DE&I team includes regional representatives who provide on-the-ground support and lead our local efforts. Through targeted talent development programs, diversity councils, and employee resource groups, our businesses drive DE&I initiatives that matter most for their locations while supporting corporate objectives.
Corning remains committed to leading our people, businesses, and communities to an intuitive DE&I mindset. This is not just the right thing for us to do – it is vital to our progress as a company.
