Each rotation is intentionally designed and includes commercial project work, experiential learning, mentoring relationships, and leadership development opportunities. Participants spend about six weeks in each function; Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering Services.
You’ll gain valuable experience while working alongside mentors on real projects and build your network by working with various teams across the organization. You will also have the opportunity to apply your learnings and present key findings and insights to key stakeholders.

The Corning Finance Rotational Program provides diverse experiences, training, and mentorship for early-career individuals who seek to accelerate their careers into a finance mid-level to management role.
Participants move through corporate, manufacturing, and division rotations designed to stretch and prepare them to be influential business partners. Extensive networking and development opportunities complement the rotational assignments.
Program overview
- Three robust, challenging, one-year assignments with the opportunity to make significant contributions
- Ongoing mentorship from a senior leader and visibility to other leaders
- Coaching and support from a peer advisor during each rotation
- Personal and group development
- Access to and integration with Corning’s Leadership Development program
- Placement in a permanent role upon successful program completion (plant controller, assistant plant controller, analyst, or similar role)

Our program is structured to give participants a big-picture view of Corning, with support from leaders and peers along the way. Members will end in a mid-level to management role in one of our North America or global locations, upon successful program completion. Graduates will also have opportunities to coach other program participants.
