Cable Types

Ribbon Cables

Ribbon cables offer higher fiber counts and greater fiber density than any other cable construction designed for the outside plant (OSP), up to eight times the highest-fiber-count loose tube cable. They also enable mass-fusion splicing, whereby each 12-fiber ribbon can be spliced in a single, straightforward procedure for fast network installation and restoration after cable cuts.

Loose Tube Cables

Loose tube fiber optic cables are high-density, lightweight, and durable for easy handling and installations. They contain buffer tubes with either 12 or 24 single loose fibers for installer familiarity.
